Sunday School - The children are studying I and II Samuel using the Children's Bible Quizzing material of the Church of the Nazarene.
The philosophy of Children’s Quizzing is Bible study. It is important to help children know what the Bible says and help them demonstrate biblical teachings in actual life situations. The goal of Children’s Quizzing is for children to know the God of the Bible.
1 and 2 Samuel show the Israelite people disillusioned with the Lord as their King, and their desire to have a king “like the other nations.” Samuel, Saul, and David are introduced. Children learn how Jerusalem became the center of Jewish religion.

Based on Luke 2:40 "There the child grew strong in body and wise in spirit. And the grace of God was on him." Our goal is to include everything kids need to be happy, healthy, prosperous, and successful in their Christian walk. All lessons will be written to inspire kids to follow Jesus example in Luke 2:40:

September - November Lessons: All About Jesus

The first quarter of "Jesus In Real Life" takes kids on a journey from Jesus' birth all the way to His resurrection. "All About Jesus" addresses daily issues kids face such as temptation, fear, loneliness, and weakness, among others. This 12 week series focuses on why He became like us, how He brought REAL life to a world full of sin and death, and several key REAL life principles He taught during His time on earth.
